Create an Annotated Bibliography

  1. Create a REFERENCES (APA format) or WORKS CITED (MLA format) list and add citations for all your sources.
  2. Under each citation, write an annotation that describes and evaluates that source.
  3. What should you write in your annotation? Often your professor will provide instructions, but a good strategy is to write the author's qualifications, the main idea, or thesis, and why the source will be useful to you.
